- Can I ride ORVs on public roads?
- Yes, with some exceptions. No M or US Roads. Check county ordinances for the rest.
- Do I need an ORV safety certificate?
- All riders under 16 on Public Land need one.
- Are DOT-approved helmets required?
- Yes, unless ORV has a rollcage and wearing seat restraints.
- What is the cost of ORV tags?
- ORV License= $26.25 ORV Trail Permit= $10 Valid from April 1st – March 31st.
