GROOMER TACKER

This Tutorial will walk you through getting setup with Groomer Tracker. Please Download Groomer Tracker onto your Apple or Android device. 

  1. Create or Login to existing Groomer Tacker account.
  2. If you have a new account you will have a free trial. Select “Schoolcraft County Motorized Trails Association”
  3. Download the “Trails” for Michigan. Select the cloud icon with an Arrow next to “Michigan” You will then procceed to view the map. After trail period is over you will need to purchase the Club Trails from groomer tacker.
  4. To purchase – While on app select the 3 Horizontal menu line and select “Dashboard”
  5. From Dashboard view select “All Clubs’
  6. Find “Schoolcraft County Motorized Trails Association” and select “Subscribe Now” and finish the purchase. You can now proceed back to the map and track the groomer in real time!
  7. To leave a tip for the club – Return to the dashboard and select “My Clubs” You will then find a “Tip Bucket” option for all clubs you are apart of.

GROOMER TACKER

This Tutorial will walk you through using Groomer Tracker. 

  1. Open Groomer Tracker and you will be presented with the Dashboard View
  2. Select “View Map”
  3. Once in Map view you can then view the Trail system as well as grooming activity. The purple lines are the trails themselves and the red/yellow/green lines are the groomed trails based on time last groomed. The Blue dot is your current location. The Green Markers are Groomers, that you can select and leave a “Tip”.

Troubleshooting & tips-

  1. Before riding, while still having an internet connection, open map view and make sure to refresh the Groomer tracks. This will ensure most accurate trails before riding.
  2. By selecting the green/yellow/red circles you can turn on/off the groomer tracks. This is useful if multiple groomers are running the same area on separate days.
  3. If no trails show up in purple, go to “dashboard” and select download trails. Re-download the Michigan trails.
  4. If on apple device and cannot purchase a subscription, please login to the Groomer Tracker Website to complete purchase

If you are a local buisness and would like to be added as Point of Interest (POI) please follow this Tutorial. The Current Cost(2025) is $100 per year. This goes directly to Groomer tracker to help pay for any app related cost!

What 3 Words Tutorials

This app maps the world into 10′ squares using 3 unique combinations of words to provide fast and accurate locations for first responders. By sharing the unique 3 word code, first responders will be able to accurately pinpoint your location in the event of an emergency.

To give out your location –

  • With location services on, open What 3 words app.
  • Select the “crosshair” in the lower right to find your position.
  • Once on your location, your 3 Words are located on the search bar.
  • Give your What 3 Words code to first responders. Words must be copied exactly as written.

Using the Unique 3 Word code to locate-

  • Open What 3 Words app or web browser.
  • Select the search by at the top and search using the 3 words.
  • Words must be in same order!
